Derek Smith, PT graduated from the University of Texas Medical Center at Dallas with a Master of Physical Therapy in 2001.

He has since practiced in the outpatient orthopaedic/sports medicine field for over 9 years. He has received extensive training in a two year manual therapy residency program with emphasis on the spine.

In his free time, Derek enjoys outdoors activities such as running mountain biking, kayaking, and surfing.
