Metrocrest Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is a comprehensive medical facility that can take you from diagnosis and treatment through rehabilitation all in one convenient location.

We offer the physician’s clinic, MRI, surgery, and physical therapy all in our state of the art medical facility. Also, our clinical staff specializes in orthopaedics and has easy access to our orthopaedic physicians. They know what your physician needs and wants for your treatment plan.

If questions arise about your treatment during your visit, your physician is just a few steps away. This means you get the highest quality orthopaedic treatment in an efficient and convenient location.

OFFICE INFORMATION

Scheduling
Call us during office hours to schedule an appointment. Be prepared with your insurance and demographic information when you call.

Accepted Insurance Plans
We accept most managed care plans. We also participate with Medicare and Worker’s Compensation. A list of accepted insurance plans can be found here. Please call our office if your plan is not listed.

Referrals
Many insurance plans require referrals, especially HMO’s. Even if you do not need a referral, your coverage may need to be verified or your treatment pre-certified.

Medical Record Requests
Please fill out our Medical Release Form and fax to our office at 972-492-7909. Please allow 24-72 hours to receive your records and/or films. Records and/or Films at our offsite archive location may take up to 2 weeks before they are available.

Spanish Speaking
Bilingual staff members are available in each department to assist if needed.

Office Hours
8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. One of our physicians is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies.

Hospital Affiliations
Our physicians have surgical privileges at Texas Health Resources Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, Texas Health Resources Center for Diagnostics and Surgery, Texas Health Resources Presbyterian Hospital of Flower Mound, Baylor Medical Center of Carrollton,Baylor Medical Center of Frisco, Cornerstone Surgery Center, The Hospital of Craig Ranch, RHD Memorial Hospital, and Las Colinas Medical Center.

Durable Medical Equipment/Orthotics Deposit
It is the policy of Metrocrest Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine to collect a partial payment on all Durable Medical Equipment/Orthotics provided to the patient. It is common for insurance companies not to cover Durable Medical Equipment/Orthotics. If your insurance company makes payment for the product provided, the partial payment amount will be credited to any balance owed or to future visits. The patient may request a refund of the partial payment if the insurance company pays for the product. A refund request must be submitted to our billing office within 30 days after receiving the Explanation of Benefits from the insurance company. To request a refund please contact the Billing Department at 972-395-2220. Durable medical equipment and orthotics include braces, boots, shoes, splints, slings, shoe inserts, crutches, canes, walkers, etc.

Prescription Refills
Metrocrest Orthopaedics offers online prescription refill requests. Click here to request a refill online. Prescription refill requests are handled Monday through Friday between 9am and 4 pm. Any requests called in after 4pm will be addressed the next business day. Prescriptions are NOT refilled after hours, on weekends, or on Holidays. Please allow up to 48 hours to process a refill request. No narcotic refills will be performed after normal office hours or on weekends. You may also contact your pharmacy and have them fax a request to our office at 972-492-7909. Please allow at least 48 hours for our office to process requests.
